I stumbled across Primos after dreaming of a gravel bike for a few months. My friend invited me to a spontaneous bikepacking trip and I needed a bike. The Dame seemed perfect coming from a Specialized Allez.
I reached out to Primos on a Sunday evening and had a response in less than an hour. I needed the bike quickly and Primos stepped up and went out of their way to help make it happen. The Dame arrived on time and everything went together beautifully. I had a LBS run through the bike and put on Bontrager rack on and it looks and works great!
My friend and I successfully completed our 150 mile journey through Iowa on mostly paved paths, however we did get to try out a few miles of gravel and singletrack. I'd say the Dame preformed above expectations on all surfaces, with the tires providing wonderful traction and the steel frame doing its job perfectly,
I took everything off after getting home from bikepacking and rode around. I was very surprised at how neutral the bike feels both loaded and empty. There is a bit more nimbleness without the extra weight, but I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference while riding. Pushing the bike around loaded and unloaded was a different story, but that's just user error with my bag setup being rear heavy.
When it comes to looks the Dame seemed to catch a lot of eyes during our trip. With many riders breaking necks to try and see who makes such a cool looking bike, The welds are perfect and the paint is very high quality. My wife loves the colors and wants one after seeing mine lol.
Overall I think Primos has something special here with the Dame. I said it many times over the 150 miles how good the bike feels. It rides flats well, corners well, climbs well and descends well. It can do it with gear or without. I think Carlos and Pascual accomplished what they set out to do and that's make a bike that can "do it all".
