I dig my Dame Gravel bike. I am now thinking about buying the flat bar Primos offers.

I purchased my Dame about a year ago. Since then I have put over 1,500 miles on it bikepacking and commuting. I have ridden it hard through pretty rough terrain and varying weather conditions. This bike rocks! Great bang for buck with reliable components. I love that it includes so many mount points and opportunities to upgrade. I have and will continue to suggest this bike to everyone!

I had this the Dame for about 11 months now and it has been super reliable, comfortable, and versatile. I upgraded the handle bars to carbon and got carbon wheels. The saddle was perfect but I got a selle Italy because that has been my go to saddle for years but it wasn’t better then the stock one. I also put a stem shock/ vibration draper on it. Mostly because I am 70 years old and have had major crashes/surgey on my shoulder. I raced gravel events and I am now doing a cyclocross series with it. Just a fun all around bike. I have not did much maintenance on it. It come perfectly tuned and has stay that way. It is a solid bike and a GREAT deal!!! I got so tried of paying crazy prices for name brand bikes and not getting the quality ride. PRIMOS Is the real deal!

I received my bike a couple weeks ago, but, due to being a truck driver, I was only finally able to put it together this past weekend. I test-rode it and had so much fun. It is a beautiful bike. I got the Dame in grey ash, and I love the color. It has a muted/minty green look, and it’s a favorite color of mine. I almost went with the black, but I’m very glad I got the color I chose. It’s a beautiful bike, from the frame to the handlebars to everything else. I am beyond pleased. It felt very comfortable to ride. I love the ergonomics of the handlebars and the way the bike handles. I’m very excited to ride this bike and make it something that carries me through my life. Thank you for everything. Primos even included touch-up paint and a chainstay protector, as well as multiple tools, which prevented me from needing to buy a toolkit for the bike. I’m very grateful.

I love this bike! It's got personality and it's perfect for my daily commuting and adventures on trails. The price is right and you can tell Primos were thoughtful on what components to compromise on. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I went back and forth for about a year trying to decide which gravel bike to get. A local vintage build? Something new? It had to be steel. I've been rocking a 1985 barebones single-speed for the last 14 years around town as a commuter and occasional paved/elevated trail rider, had never had any other kind of bike since my childhood's Walmart specials. Given this background, any modern bike with more than one speed would be a huge upgrade for me.

I compared all the usual brands and stumbled upon Primos on Instagram finally. The Dame was the bike I kept coming back to as the logical choice. To be as impressed as I was by how it is specced on paper pales in comparison to how it feels to actually ride it now that it's here. My commute is a thousand times easier now, and I can't wait for its first trail ride this week. Set up was a breeze, and I am someone who had never dealt with a derailleur, cassette, or disc brakes. I couldn't even manage to get a wheel off my old bike to replace a tire. My Dame came with both wheels detached, and I spent no more than 30 minutes opening the box, figuring it all out, and getting it in a rideable condition.

I cannot say enough! My partner incidentally found the exact same one as mine (grey ash) for resale in town a week before mine arrived, so we've been rocking our matching Dames and setting everything up just right. The color is incredible. For context, she's a short-legged 5'4" riding a Small, and I'm a 34-inch inseam 5'11" riding a Large. We think both our sizes are perfect for us. I am so happy this is the bike I chose, it's worth every cent for a new steel frame with the components it ships with right out of the box.

This bike is sweet! It might just be the coolest bike I’ve had in my 40 years. The ride is smooth, quick, and fun!

I love it! I recently got into this as a hobby. I started out with a MTB, then realized that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for so I looked into gravel bikes and found these Primo bikes. The dame was my number one choice every time I compared to others. It was simple to put together, and rides great!

This bike is a blast to ride. Had my eye on primos for a while and finally pulled the trigger, and my only regret is waiting so long to finally buy the bike. After a few weeks of riding i can say that it has been 100% worth it. I have a couple 90s mtbs/atb and this bike has the same spirit with a more modern more aggressive feel. I now find myself riding it more than any other bike I have.

For anyone looking for sizing references : Im 5'9 about 205lbs 30in inseam in pants. I got a ML. It fits just right. I feel like M would have felt little small

I’ve got about 350 miles on it so far and I’m in love. Purchased as a daily commuter in Portland and as an aging Bmx rider I can’t help but flow curb cutouts and gap little stairs everywhere I go and this thing takes it without skipping a beat (bunny hops super stable too). The wheels really are pretty solid and have survived a handful of wonky landings and stupid maneuvers without a single issue and I’m 195 pounds. Recommending to all my friends.

Primos was very response with an order change and when the bike arrived with a damaged part, I had the replace in three days from across the country. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of the bike and components. All the tools needed to build and make final adjustments arrived with the bike, which was great.

Just FYI - At 6' 1" and just shy of a 34" inseam I went with the XL.. I would recommend sizing down if unsure. A large would have been a better fit. Plan on making a few modifications to the stem and seat to improve the fit.

This bike has been so much fun over the last month or so. I absolutely love it. Nimble, fast, and so cute. Great price too. Highly recommend.

Awesome bike! The coral is more of an orange which is what I was hoping. Shifting is good to go. Be sure to check the brakes though. The front brake cable was installed wrong and not even laid over the channel and instead tightened under the screw nut! I also had to take off the fork and spin it 360 degrees so the cable would lay properly. But Primos offered to pay for the frayed cable replacement and said they are working on a better manual for installation. I assume the bikes are put together overseas? The ride is actually stiffer and bumpier than the $250 Ozark Trail G1 bike that I was riding before this—not sure why. I’m quite happy though and excited to put on more mileage! I have only had the bike a week now and have rode a bit over 100 miles. Oh, almost forgot, the saddle is not great but I guess that is to be expected with a stock seat. I changed it out.

Would love to see more small options. I am 5'6", which is the recommended height for M, but I have an inseam of 26" so that makes the bike just a bit too tall for me. Overall though I have loved my experience with the bike.

The bike arrived with major assembly needed, but the biggest frustration is a piece broke less than 30 days of light use with the company offering no resolution. Many reviews mentioned great responses and help from the company, vut unfortunately that is not what we have received so far.

Honestly great bike cant complain

This is pretty much as solid as it gets for a $1k bike.
Out of the box it came with all the tools (and more) needed to be put together and a bit of grease and touch-up paint, which was needed because some of the fork was sticking out of the box upon arrival, which sucked, but it wasn’t too dinged up. The instruction manual included doesn’t apply to the bike what so ever so you need have a bit of bike literacy to put it together.

Assembly was easy, had it done in about 30 minutes, biggest issues was the headset would not tighten correctly and required another spacer which luckily I had.

I’ve put about 50 miles on it so far and it’s been great. The derailleur needs some more work and tuning, but cables are also stretching out so it’ll take a bit. The mechanical disc brakes technically do stop you- but they do suck. Just get some TRP Hydro-Mechanicals and it will be fine. All in all I got my moneys worth so far.
